Executive Director

California Policy Lab at UCLA

ONLINE COMMUNITY MEETING Monday, September 26, 2022 7:00 – 8:15 pm | Zoom Webinar

Despite the number of unhoused people who daily are helped to move into housing by our housing agencies, the net numbers of homeless people on L.A.’s streets are reportedly growing at a conservative estimate of 20 people a day. Can anything be done to reverse this deeply concerning trend?

Join us to learn what UCLA’s Policy Lab is doing to confront this dilemma. Janey Rountree, Executive Director of the Policy Lab, will discuss its innovative predictive modeling that is now enabling LA County social work teams to focus on specific individuals to prevent their falling into homelessness.
